i just bought a new o9 civic coupe and i wanted to install the password jdm rear tow hooks but im only capable of fitting one of the bolts into the factory tow hooks i've seen pictures of them on the exact same car y wont mine fit.

 

only one bolt goes thru the the oem tow hook. the other bolt goes straight to the plate without going thru anything. thats how it is on all cars

 

its a crush bracket. one bolt goes through the tow hook and the other doesnt go through anything. it just basically crushes the rear tow hook to stay in place

do you REALLY need that ricey tow hook? no need to make the car even easier to steal than it already is .
