I love my Tanabe SHP. The sound is fairly deep and not too loud. The construction and materials are impressive, too.

i've got stock exhaust on my car, just changed out the little 1 inch piping for 2-1/4 from the cat to the muffler, then from the muffler out. nice and quiet, lots of good flow.

I did the same thing and for piping, hangers, clamps, some welding, and labor it just cam shy of $130. I took in a 12 inch magnaflow cat, a magnaflow muffler, and a Thrush glasspack to be used as a resonator and it sounds good. I will be replacing it with an RSR ex-mag though because I want a bolt together exhaust not clamped like mine now.

The si exhaust is really nice. Even though alot of people don't like em they still have a really agressive deep tone even on a d16 engine.
