what kinda motor is b16a?

i was just wondering what kinda motor a b16a is..is it a gsr motor?

B18C1 Integra GSR 94-00
B16A3 Del Sol VTEC 94-97

no, jdm b16's dont have a number after b16, they are just b16 no 1 or 2's

here is another tidbit...b16 series motors cam out in japan in 89 in the CRX SIR...they are the first of the b-series vtec motors...they are basically 99-00 si motors but they have changed through the years in terms or smog equip(OBD-0 thru OBD-2), different C/R, Cams, and so forth...the first gen B16a are popular swaps into EF civics and Crxs, and also into the DA 2gen integras...
