Default Koni/Ground control.. what spring rates are you running?

so i'm getting my koni/GC setup here in a couple weeks... and i was wondering what spring rates everyone else is running and how it handles/rides.. i've gotten some really good recomendations from a fellow ht member.. i'm just trying to gather everyone elses info... my initial plans are 450f and 400r whats everyone elses opinion? i would like it to ride decent.. i like my car to handle Very well and that is more important than ride comfort...

450/400 will work, so will 400/350. if you ever plan to use a better tire than the s drive go 450/400 and or if track time is in the future. if you just street drive and are staying on harder tires you'll probably enjoy 400/350 more

I have Dunlop Z1's (195-55-15) and picking up some 450f/550r koni/gc's with two pair of extended top hats. Want to BARELY tuck tire.

I'm thinking the 550r might be a little much. I don't plan on tracking or anything. If so, a new set of 350's for the rear won't be much. It'll at least smooth out bumps. Really need an ASR/ITR brace/sway bar combo to beef up the rear.

ya i think 550 for the rear would be a bit much.. your ride would goto crap wouldn't it?? and since your gonna have that beefy bar in the rear i don't see why you would want such a high spring rate for the rear.. thats just what i've picked up on from other members..

basically your rear spring rate will determine how your car "rides".. and i have 195/55/15 s drives on my daily, tuckin all around, no rubbing at all!

I'm not sure how rough it's going to be, but I wanted to give it a try. I've seen those spring rates used a lot. If it's too harsh, Weaksauce sells extra springs for like $45 each. So, that isn't bad...

I don't have the brace and sway bar yet. Not at the top of my list. So, it'll be a little bit.

Plus, you have to understand that I'm getting this setup for only 575. So yeah, It's worth a try.
