Default running super rich ok??

hey i have a b20b with a decent turbo kit running 660 injectors with a walbro 255 fuel pump im just a lil concerned cuz its running super rich when i cruising at 60 my wideband reads anywhere from 11.2 to 10.5. i hasnt been tuned yet but I have been keeping it out of boost. would it be ok to dd running this rich??. Thanks for ur time.

Thats really rich for cruising, its not gonna damage anything except you gas mileage, and maybe foul a set of plugs

ya it also does smoke a lil out the exhaust is that from it just running rich? like its not burning any coolant or oil at all the motor is fresh.

i dont understand why your driving a non tuned turbo car on a "fresh" motor......get it tuned before something is damaged

i dont know if it will hurt the parts but when my afr where in the 10s my car felt sluggish
now that they are high 11 the power fill alot better and no poping/back firing

This is true, the excessively rich mixture is going to wash the oil off the cylinder walls and wear out the cylinder walls and rings.

it has to be alot richer than 10.5:1 for fuel wash.

It is possible at 10.5:1 for the oil to become contaminated with fuel which is detrimental to lubrication. Since he's not getting into boost it's debatable as to how much damage it will cause but do you really want to risk your new build?

Yup, and it will foul your plugs causing poor combustion, and also damage the cat and the O2 sensor. Definitely not an okay thing to do for a long period of time
