Default obd2 b18b1 swap into 98 ek hatch

i've already picked up the motor and tranny, i've heard i can use all my stock mounts except i need the rear T bracket from a 99-00 si and i need the shift linkage from an LS. i just need to find out what else i will need to complete the swap. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

you also need the front torque mounts from an integra. if you're reusing a/c, you need a crv or del sol vtec drivers side torque mount.

you also need an si timing belt mount (bracket i guess you call it)

the harness should work cuz is 97 and thats considered obd2a(96-98), if it was like 99, it would be obd2b(99-00)... it should work then, like mentioned before get the rear T bracket and most likely a front tranny torque mount and the mount by the cam gears... other than that the shift linkage, ecu p75 and u should be good!

yeah hasport mounts are real nice, just alittle too pricey for me, this whole swap is onlly gonna cost me around 800 bucks, i'm getting the motor from tigerjapanese and everything else from a buddy of mine, i just gotta find that T bracket, thats gonna be hard cause its really rare to find a 99 00 si at the junkyard

i'll check around, i know that getting it from the dealership is gonna cost an arm and a leg. so i could get away without using the front torque mount? and it wouldn't cause any issues?

the rubber mnts are the same but you will need a new bracket that is bolted w/3 bolts to the block on the belt side, the t bracket in back and if the trans is hydro and you are hydro the nothing new on the trans side. as far as the torque mnts... i dont really remember, lol it was a long time ago that i did that swap, but i think you do need the diff. ones. the worse thing your gonna get is if your rubber is old the motor will rock back and forth when load is applied and shifting

all the rubber mounts you can reuse. its the brackets that are attached to them you gotta change. only bracket/mount you don't have to change is the upper transmission.

The brackets you will need are a 99-00 civic si T bracket and upper timing belt bracket. The stock integra brackets will work for the front tranny and a/c bracket. The only stock civic bracket you can use is the top tranny as previously mentioned. The integra wiring harness will not work at all. You will need to use your stock civic harness and modify it.

your gonna need to change a few pugs to match your neww motor.... i know a common 1 i the iac 3 wire to a 2 wire. knock sensor plug, and vtec wire if you dont have vtec in car already, air intake temp. sensor. it all depends on the year of the donor car, and the year and make of your car. youll know when you plug in all the sensors and find the ones that dont match.

ok i just reread your original post, the 3 wire iac to 2 wire is the only wire fix you got i think! since no vtec. i would take your engine harness and connect it to the motor out of the car, this will give you all the access to everything. double check everything, you can also clean it up a bit and do a mild wire tuck this way too. good luck

Like previously mentioned the iac plug is different, the crank sensor plug is different and several of the wires are too short and will need to be lengthened.
