It should be dot 3. What are you doing calipers, wheel cylinder, or lines? If your not any of those you don't have to bleed for pads and rotors or shoes and drums.

I'm doing pads and rotors. But the fluid hasn't been changed so I'm putting new fluid in there unless it doesn't need to be done. Then I won't

Your fluid should be a clearish yellow color. If its not then i would change the fluid. It should be dot 3

I'm putting on checker blank rotors and some ceramic pads from checker. The rotors have a two year warranty.

When you say "checker" do you mean the store associated with kragen?

Seriously though, I don't know. They sell oreily's generic brand **** there. Checker always has the cheapest prices on everything I need. When I did my wheel bearing it was only $40 or so at checker, but vatozone and napa wanted $70

O'Reilly brake stuff is repackaged Raybestos. I've seen it on other forums and my brother just got a set for his Talon TSi. The part number and price were the same as the O'Reilly pads on partsamerica, but the box said Raybestos at the store he went to.
