Question about adding 4.9 Final Drive in ~ 180Whp Gsr
Ok Guys... Asking this question for a friend.
First Off I'll start by saying that the Motor is a B18C1 (Still Retaining a Gsr Trans) making 170-180Whp in an Eg Civic Coupe, the car has run a best of 14.3 at 97MPH. If he installed a 4.9 (planning on the MFactory Unit) Final Drive will it be too high of a final Drive. It will be primarily driven on the street with the ocasional trip to the 1/4 Mile... It is not his Daily Driver but wants a good setup for the street and track.
PS - On down the road he plans to make some more additions to the motor (staying All Motor) will the 4.9 be suited for the motor if he chooses to add power.

The MFactory 4.9 will work great. I'd suggest the 3.07 1st gear with it since he is planning on running it at the strip.
