ive been running kpro for about 6 months and have been having this awkward CEL problem. Its been doing this for about 3 months but as the title says, the CEL will flicker.

At one point I was throwing a CEL for an emissions(?) problem (it had something to do with fuel sensors?).I ended up turning off my secondary o2's and that fixed the problem. but since then, everytime i fall into the vtec crossover, it just starts flickering and it never turns completely on!

has anybody ever had this problem?

 

Quiet peculiar... have you try giving hondata a call or email?

 

i figured since they have strict rules of contacting shops first, i thought i would get a better response on HT..

its strange! i figured it was my particular ecu just playing games, but i dont wanna take that chance

 

Did u ever tune ur car after putting kpro in your car?

 

thats knock.....the flashing cel = kpro telling you that the knock sensor is reading knock, one flash = one knock.....

I strongly suggest you do some reading over at the hondadata sight...

 

That what i was getting at but mustclime put it out there for you. I was trying to see if u did have it tuned. Ur tuner should have shut it off for u.

 

im only running an a2 basemap.

ive never had a problem with knocking, but if it occurs through a small amount of the vtec band, shouldn't that be normal?

and whats the likelihood of it being a bad sensor
