Default battery mounted in the trunk question

What gauge wire is used in yours for the positive and where do you have the ground wire attached i have made one myself and grounded it but as i currently have the motor out i did not hook up the battery so i am not sure if it is good enough and i figured i would ask about everyone else's if you have pictures of where you ran your ground to and how you have yours split between the fuse box and the starter

just so you know, the trunk is a horrible spot for a battery in a front-wheel-drive car, if you are at all worried about performance... but use 4 gauge wire from the battery to the starter (and i'd recommend using high quality wire, such as what is used for audio setups), and you can use 8 gauge to go from the battery to the underhood fusebox. hopefully, you're not just tying the wire to the oem battery terminal under the hood, because the starter pulls all the juice from that wire when you're cranking the car, and you almost kill power to the ecu under start if you do that. which is no good man. so run a 4 gauge and an 8 gauge. and make sure you run it through the firewall nicely and neatly. and safely.

I used 0 gauge from the battery to the front. Then I used 4 guage to the battery and 6 gauge to the fuse box. Hope that makes sense to you. Also make sure you have some sort of inline fuse. I used a breaker switch mounted on my battery box. You'll notice that with the larger wire now going to the starter that it will crank much harder.

Oh I forgot to mention I used a junction for the 0 gauge to the 4 and 6. Sort of like what they use in sub setups on cars.
