Default T2T4 Tranny, anyone??

I'm getting one next week and I was just wondering if anyone whose got one can tell me how it is?? I heard 1st-4th gears are shorter than H22 gears and the FD is tall for highway cruise which is perfect for my H22 motor.

PS, I know the basic like what car/motor it came from, LSD, etc.

Just want to hear some inputs. I know I'mma love this tranny since I'm still F22 5spd equipped; I hated it since its slowing my setup.

I have the same tranny as yours, and i drive a 95 accord with jdm h23a blue top.

My ride used to be AT so I cannot give you much feed back.

From the spec it has the same gear ratio as the 5th gen lude but we got the stock lsd.

You will notice your corner speed increase and you will be able to accelerate while turning.

congradulation on your new transmission

Really? I heard that 1st-4th gears are shorter than a regular h22 trans and FD is taller. Is it true? or is it just like an M2B4 LSD tranny??

So the higher the number the shorter or what? I'm not too good with these kind of numbers. :D

T2T4 - 3.285 - 1.956 - 1.344 - 1.034 - 0.812 - 4.266 LSD

M2A4 - 3.307 - 1.950 - 1.360 - 1.071 - 0.787 - 4.266

M2B4 - 3.307 - 1.950 - 1.360 - 1.071 - 0.787 - 4.266 LSD

I guess you're right. Except fourth gear from my info is different from your specs.

Acctually the T2T4 1st-4th Gears are a Tiny bit longer then the M2A4, and the 5th gear is a tiny bit shorter. But the two trannys are really close and WAY better then the F22

I was told that the gears are the same as a H22A4 tranny except mine's LSD. but..... I'm at 4K doing 80mph in 5th gear while my buddy's JDM M2A4 tranny did 3.5Krpm doing 80mph in 5th gear.

Ah, my old thread. Can't believe it's freaking 2012 already and it's going to be 2013 soon! And to answer your question, yes, it'll bolt right up just fine. Any F & H series are interchangeable between the two. Just know that your gears are gonna be short as f*ck which is good due to faster acceleration if you're aiming for performance. Though, your gas mileage will suffer.

Good luck!
