Default major electrical problems

I have a 96 accord ex with an h swap. Today i was driving back from the beach and i rolled my windows up and then tried to close my sun roof but it did not work. it didnt make any noise or anything. i left my car at idle and tried it again. I realized my tach and my fuel gauge stopped working as well. i tried to roll my windows back down and they dont work either. I shut my car off checked all of the fuses disconnected the battery and started the car up again. when i turned the key to run and only the battery light comes on but the cel srs seatbelt and brake like in the gauge cluster do not. i start the car and the battery light goes off like normal. i checked the turn signals and the lights on the dash do not work either but the 4 way lights do come turn on. Also the clock in the center console does not work. I am thinking i have a short somewhere but i have no clue where all these systems are tied in together. If anyone has any ideas on where i should start please let me know. If not then thanks for reading.

It may be your electrical portion ignition switch. Mine acted similarly.

Nothing worked when key was in accessory mode
The car would start up sometimes
Other times with would instantly crap out
etc

it still starts up everytime. also the little switch on the dash to select from circulating air and external air stays lit up (sorry i dont know what its called) even when the car is off and the key is removed

Definitely a wiring issue then. When you did the wiring for the H how did you do it? Quick connects or solder? Did you nick any other wires?

The interior stuff tunnels down straight to the interior fuse box in the driver's footwell.

i checked the interior fuses. all are good. also i checked the harness connections from the fuse box to the dash and gauges and they were all connected. is there any relays that could have gone bad and caused this?

What is the current drain on the battery with the ignition off?

If its higher than 100ma start pull fuses until it drops off to 10ma or 30ma approximately.

so today i was picking around some circuits and noticed i am not getting power to the power window fuses in the under hood fuse box. I looked at the electrical diagrams and I couldnt come up with anything. It was all consistent with the ignition like you said muffinman except the radio still works on acc and run modes. I also rewired the ground from the negative terminal to the chassis and to the engine block and that didnt help either. Im just running out of options and i dont want to lose the faith. Thanks for the help
