Just got back from the IHRA Nationals @ NewEnglandDragWay and it was so impressive to see the top fuel dragsters run. My boys 4 & 6 freaked out when they went by, but toughed it out for the following pairs.

First turbo pro mod to make it past round one happened. Single 120mm turbo 427ci Camaro.


Wish Bob Norwood would have finished the top fuel 4cyl funnycar.

Ya the weather was great and the cars were awesome as well. Love watching the pro class cars run it makes everything else seem so slow.

 

Cant wait until they come to my neck of the woods for the Virginia Nats at VMP in October, I live 15 min. away. Rooting for my boy Atron Brown!

Indeed! I met him for the first time last year at the North vs South event at VMP. It was amazing how he demolished big 700 to 800+ ci. multi-stage nitrous cars, AND some of the blown alky cars! All with a small block!

He got that thing into the 5's at (I think it was) E-town not too long ago.

You and me both after hearing what happened, man I really need to find time to get out to these events. Seems like the turbo setup are getting dialed in well... I can't wait to see what happens this year!
