Default CYP Code on b16

Ok here goes, i have a obd1 b16 in my dx hatch and running hondata s300 in p28...i got DTC 4 Which is for crank angle sensor, so after researching, i noticed that i wired the CYP and CKP wrong, which i thought was weird cuz if I had a CEL for the CKP i should of gotten a CEL for the CYP, but anyways went ahead and swapped wires over, and that fixed my no start up problem and my rev limit at 3000 rpm, but now i have a CEL for CYP (code 9)which is weird to me you know? ima Double check my wiring again... and is it bad for my car to run with that CEL? cuz car runs perfectly fine.....Oh and anyone know on here how to eliminate knock sensor on S300?

not sure if that CEL puts the computer in limp mode. i thought you have to have the tuning software in order to disable the knock sensor?
