yes u can. ur swap will be super easy..
the only thing u may have to do is extend a couple wires
and it also depends which ECU u will be using to run your car.
if its obd2a or obd1 u will need a jumper harness

As long as you use an obd2-b engine, which a 99 b18c1 is, you don't have to change ****. You can even use the si ecu if you really wanted to.

I'll say. I wish my swap was as painless as this one.

You should set a timer and see how long it takes to swap. 10 bux says you can have the old one out and new one in and running in under 2 hours with proper tools/help. any takers? lol

if he uses the si ecu it will throw cels.

i dont know about the hole 2 hour thing, but 1 day should be more then enough time to do this.

Like I said, if you have to. It will only throw a CEL with a stock FPR. If you get an aftermarket one(10-60 bux), and turn it up a bit you will have no issues. Trust me. Currently running that way(b18 with b16 p2t ecu) with no CEL(had CEL before FPR and more fuel).

2 hours was a joke, unless your super duper dedicated, with several other people.

99 gsr is obd2a, 00-01 gsr is obd2b. i have the obd2b 00 gsr swap in my 00 hatch. been running an 00 si ecu for about 80 miles now with no codes.

pretty sure im not giving it enough gas. just need it to pass smog.

and i got a obd2b-obd1 harness waiting for a gsr obd1 ecu.

I have to disagree with you here. The 99 GSR is OBD2A. 00-01 GSRs are OBD2B.
