Needs a drop and a lip.

Nice car. And I usually don't like the new golfs.

very nice! I checked out your portfolio and nice work there as well! Do you still use nikon?

I was wondering how you acheived that blown out sky look in ps? It's cool, and gives the pics a more "artsy" feel imo.

Thanks. I still am using a Nikon. A D200 with the kit lens (my one and only lens) lol. The first 3 are straight out of camera with photo shopping of just my logo. Basically I just shoot straight into the sun and use my exposure compensation until it comes out the way I want it to. Its really tricky balancing out natural light like that but I figured if I could do with a model, I could do it with a car. I'll try to dig up the camera info for you later.

And yeah I like the whole "artsy feel". Automotive photography gets really boring after a while b/c it all looks the same. I'm heading the photography for JTUNED now and one of the first features will be Bryans 600hp/600tq widebody nsx that I tried some crazy lighting techniques with. So keep a look out for that.

Wheres all the Vdub love at? I gotta admit this is the first volkswagen I've ever shot.

But they definitly can be done tastefully and cleanly.

Any other input from the H-T crowd?

Beautiful work. I really love shots 1,7, and especially 6. Would be nice if I could get 6 at least 1440 wide.

Also, what's up with the greenish sun flares showing up in pics? I been noticing a lot of that recently. Could it be some sort of reflection within one of the lenses?

Those are some amazing shots for natural light. The car is sick as well.

Any filters used at all?

I unlocked the picture and the full resolution file is now available for download. I'll close it tomorrow so let me know when you got it.

No filters used. 1-3 are practically straight out of camera with the exception of my watermarks. Natural light is challenging but really rewarding especially when everyone seems to be going the strobist route.

haha at least i knew you were joking. His car is pretty damn low and I love the stance. Clean cars in Las Vegas aren't easy to come by.
