Fuel pump installed!
So I just installed the fuel pump on the car and now the car actually starts but dies right after. I imagine it has to do with the lines being emptied when we released the pressure and did the install. Is there a procedure that I should do to fill the lines again, or is something else wrong? Any suggestions are appreciated!
So I checked and apparently the fuel pump is not even turning on which is making me think that either it is an electrical problem or the fuel pump that I bought is defective. Everything is connected properly so I'm not sure what to think.
SOUNDS LIKE YOUR CLOSE TO A SOLUTION. TURN YOUR KEY TO THE ON POSITION AND GO NEAR FUEL DOOR AND LISTEN FOR THE WHIZZING SOUND TO SEE IF YOUR PUMP IS PRESSURIZING THE SYSTEM. Check the connections for continuity via SPecs in Haynes. I also heard that the PGM-FI relay or Main relay could cause this problem. Did you verify that you were getting spark?

to know if its the fuel pump or electrical make a ground and power wire all the way to the battery connected to the fuel pump connect them and see if you hear the buzzing sound...if you dont thats how you know if the pump is bad or not
