Default Streaking?

So I recently spilled soda on my driver's side window, and there's this streak that has formed on it. I'll wipe it off, but once I roll the window down and put it back up, it comes back. Is there any way to remove the weather stripping/access the window, without damaging the weather stripping?

Take off the inner door panel and then peel back the plastic. Don't get the goopy black stuff on you.

The top of the door panel just pops right out pretty easily.

roll the window all the way down and clean that fuzzy seal on the top of the panel with an old tooth brush.
