actually theres write ups all over the place that there senders and hardware are just as good as those brands so i rather save an extra $200 in gauges and spend it somewhere that will show gains on a dyno instead

im getting gauges because im actually making a conscious effort on my part to keep an eye on my modified motor. im not like you trying to buy a boost gauge and put it on my NA motor.

Mounting in the glove box is sweet when you never have people riding shotgun. I'd like to know about my boosted motor even with the girl in tow. (we KNOW she's not about to ride with the glove box in her lap!)

I was just kinda kidding it's not a bad idea just seems a little impractical. I like relocating the radio and putting them there, also the kits that put them on the steering column or around the gauges are pretty cool and not ricey or anything. It would be helpful if op posted his car so we know what would work since a lot of gauge pods are only made for ek's etc

oh ok, i thought you were being mean
where did you relocate the radio.
one thing i hate is the huge monster tachometer.
it screams out "here i am race me!"
idk anywhere to hide gauges.
i give up lol

what is your car. You can get a eg jdm center console like this picture. and put the radio there. Yeah i hate the monster tachs as well. do you really want to hide them or are you just trying to find somewhere to put them that doesn't make it look like you think your drivin a race car. I also kinda like the one that i pictured but this all depends on your car.

Joelmatt89, I like the ideas you showed with those pics. Seems the most logical way to keep the gauges in view without everybody walking by and pointing out the ricer. The tach's the hardest one, but the best we can do is mount it with one of those corner pods, or a steering wheel mount. Probably not the cleanest thing ever, but it's got to be practical!

What does the car matter, when it comes to gauges? You are the one who sounds retarded.

How about the fact that all cars don't have them same interior? Last time I checked the interior layout from a Del Sol, EG, and EK are quite different.

And when was the last time you saw aftermarket gauges in stock gauge locations? If you look, that particular remark was directly related to the gauges, not placement.

what are you talking about the op asked a good way to mount them not a ricey pillar. What remark are you talking about that was directly related to gauges not placement. It is definitely important to know what car were talking about here

^ That looks horrible. Then when you decide to sell the car and remove the gauges you have holes all in your dash. That would have looked much cleaner with a double din block off plate with the gauges mounted in and the radio relocated to the lower console with a 96-98 cup holder setup.
