NC Old School Lovers: '87 RT-4WD Wagon- Freshly Restored!
Featured in this month's Honda Tuning Magazine

Price: $2800
I've thoroughly enjoyed building this car. I have just finished restoring an '86 CRX Si, and will thus (sadly) be parting with this build. I have brought it a long way, and I am hoping that I can find another owner that could (1) maintain it and NOT rice it out; and (2) perhaps take it to even higher levels.
Stats:
1987 RT-4WD Civic Wagon
Manual Transmission; 5-speed w/ "super low" gear
Close to 207,000 on the clock
Recent head gasket swap, timing belt and water pump swapped by previous owner.
New alternator with Advance lifetime-warranty.
Good battery and starter.
New half-sized radiator
Weber 32/36 carb swap; devaced and SWEET, beautiful idle.
Full A/C, working, just needs to be reoiled and recharged. Has NOT been switched to R134, RUN THAT R12 BABY!
96-00 EDM Civic VTI 15" wheels with 90% left on tires.
interior in GREAT condition
Has rear speaker pods and cargo cover!
Good shocks at all four corners
Custom exhaust and 4-1 headers by Majestic Muffler of Mooresville, NC; flows VERY well and sounds MEAN (no raspy ricey sounds here)
Magnaflow polished exhaust tip
3M red pinstriping added
Chrysler "Alpine White"; all who have seen this in person can vouch for the fact that this paint job looks very clean.
Painted bumpers (unpainted from factory)
JDM headlights, corner lights, and side-marker (fender) lights.
86-87 Teg front lip, cut to fit
88-89 Teg front lip (on rear), cut to fit
Reproduced "RT-4WD" logos for doors
Prelude Master cylinder
86-89 Integra Front rotors with ceramic pads
recently resurfaced rotors
recently changed rear brake shoes
Nice Rain-X no-spring wipers front and rear.
There aren't many clean 3G wagon's left in the world. I was trying to make the cleanest one I possibly could. I feel like it's one of the best, and I have a put a lot of hard work and sweat into this restoration.
The car gets looks and compliments where-ever it goes. I guess you could say, it has a geeky, yet unique, charm factor.
Not prepared to let this one go for a low price. Just too much work in to it. I'll keep it if I don't get the right offer.
Asking $2800. We can arrange cross-country shipping, if necessary, but would prefer pick-up.
Here are some pics from the wagon's last photo-session. Please note: Mugen MR5 wheels/tires are not included in the sale.

dAYem! You interested in trades? I've got a 1990 Toyota Tercel in clean condition that you could restore!

No trades on this one, but thanks for asking. Just looking to get whats fair for it in cash, and sell it to an owner who will really care for it.

Photo's of the inside can be found on page 14 of my build thread. I corrected the link to it, and it is located at the end of my FIRST post of this thread. HT WAS blocking RedPepperRacing links, and now they are not, so just click away.
Underside photos, never taken any. I'll try to get some up soon. I will say that the underside of the car is very clean, no rust. Being that it was a 4-WD model, heavy under-coating was added at the factory to protect against rust.
This is a clean chassis. Thanks for asking!
