Are the JDM EG6 seats any more comfortable than the stock 92-95 USDM Civic seats? I'm considering getting them along with the full rear seat conversion, but I like my GSR leathers and don't really want to go back to uncomfortable seats again as I drive over 2 hours daily.

I think they are comfy. But I have a Recaro SRD (Driver) now with Type R interior.

 

Thanks, but I guess I need a little more info. Is there enough back support...seat support? How about leg and side bolstering? The bolstering looks more substantial than stock, but I want more input before I plunk down the extra change for the seats.

To be honest, it will be similar to the stock seats. They maybe just a tad more supportive than USDM. The major difference is the cloth and the "seamless" look which makes it look better than the USDM. I would do the conversion just b/c it looks better and that it has the fold down rear seats for more cargo space and box.

i think any of the eg seats are going to be uncomfotable gsr seats would be better ull have less lower back pain with those i have a eg myself and more than 35 40 mins my back hurts lol and im only 19... i acutally am going some corbeau cr1 seats

 

Thanks for the reality check, guys. I suspected I'd want to keep the GSRs...I really like them and would hate to go backwards just for a clean JDM look. I'm getting the rear conversion w/rear seats and I have the Gathers speakers, so I think that will look pretty good, even with the black leathers.

Try driving in them for about 8-10hours. I drive all day in my ej1. I deliver tapes etc. for the Movie studios. Im actually trying to find a set of new seats. Atleast even some ek seats. When i had my ek, the seats didnt really bother me like the damm EG ones. Man i hate those ugly *** seats.

 

GSR seats with adjustable lumbar supports are so comfortable I would not go back to Civic seats.

 

i have an EM1 and those seats are uncomfortable. older model stock seats suck...need an upgrade here

 

i hated my ek seats.. integra seats even if they are ls are awesome .. very comfy and the sit you lower than ek seats plus the lumbar support is nice

 

I actually like my jdm front seats. I get a lot of compliments on the comfort & on the long drives people fall asleep pretty fast. they arch a lil more then the stock eg seats so imo it gives me good back support.
