high compression build questions
i had a few questions about a build i am doing, i was wondering if it would be fine to run on pump gas.. i did the online calculator and it came to 13:1.. heres the setup
b16 head - all stock
b18c1 block
LS crank
LS rods
CTR pistons
OEM head gasket
arp head studs
would this setup be ok to run on 93 octane? anything i could do different to have a decent setup? is this setup just retarded?

alot..
For starters they came in a b16 block, if they are used, they shoudl only be used, in a b16 block
They're very heavy..
They distort the flame combustion process
They have too much of an angle on the dome
They are just **** pistons..
Putting these pistons in anything but a b16 block.. will have your CR through the root.
deck height, rod length, crank , all these play a role in CR and these pistons.. put you at high 13's in a gsr or ls block.. no matter what combo you use.
