I know, the Hood is dented... getting CF -OEM style in about 2 weeks... and i know, my car is as tall as a monster truck... saving up for these:

I am saving up to lower it... my job kinda sucks (GameStop) i spend most of my money on gas but i save a lil bit every month, i got about 500 in my savings (and 50 in checkings for gas/etc...)

I guess i can ask:
Is the tokico HP strut/spring good enough? I REALLY like the price... 442 SHIPPED, and lowers the car 1.75 inches...

The lip... ill get that eventually, and EKCoupeKid98 ... it IS a stickshift, that is just a cluster from an EX, DXs dont have tach, so i got that one, and it works.

Get out of this forum fast, H-T is a joke to real enthusiasts these days. There are other internet forums that are much better.

 

I would suggest to save your money for Ground Control/Koni Yellow combo. That's if you are into performance. But, if you just want your car to look good then shocks/springs do the job just fine.

 

If thats really your true opinion then why the hell are u in this forum?

 

Loose the gauges, fix the weird *** looking grille, and either put your plate where it belongs (I hated offset plates) or fix the oem holes. Not digging the headlights with the white either. Oh well, welcome

op looks like a good start, i woudnt get the tokico blues, they are not meant for lowerd cars, they are simple oem replacements.

 

Well... money is really hard for me, im just a poor college kid with a job that just pays for gas... and my car is DANGEROUS to drive, sometimes i brake and it just starts bouncing and loosing contact with the ground... and i live in Chicago, and we get 6 months of snow, and they're just around the corner, so i need to fix it... ASAP....

Oh dude, my car does that on its own when i am driving... really scary to drive on I-55 on my way to college every morning!

lol. I feel ya. I drove a beetle across town with no shocks at all, just the torsion. when I gassed it on and off down the road the front started hopping off of the road. Scary...and I know...dumb.

Good luck with that, maybe pull some shocks out of a junkyard for now for safety? Maybe go charge all those people who pushed on your car $5 each for new shocks? lol

 

Trust me... when i get out of college... and a REAL job... im gettin me an S2K.

But right now i got college loans, books, etc to pay... so 36MPG civic is amazing. lol. Im more for the nice looks (and sounds) than actual speed.

And yeah, i should charge like $5/bounce. LOL! But here is the positive side.. its like a Cadillac, i dont feel potholes!
