I'm having this problem with my obd2 Ls swap in a 00 ek.....I have an obd1 ls ecu with a step down.....I could start the car fine but once I tap the gas pedal it wants to shut off I have to give it like a minute b4 I'm able to step on the pedal

 

sounds like map or tps problem(in the ecu) try a dif ecu

 

the ecu came out of an integra i had which was running fine with it

 

right but now its in another car...dif harness?

is the motor obd2a or obd2b?

 

i tried another ecu and still the same issue....honestly i dont know which one it is but if this helps the intake manifold doesnt have the sensor on top

 

that's your problem right there. you need the TPS sensor.
