Fiberglass doors or Gutted metal doors?
wondering if its worth gettin the fiberglass doors. also wondering if anyone knows a good place to pick up a set of fiber glass doors for a eg coupe/hatch im located in NJ
Unless your looking for the most weight loss and are willing to have the fiberglass reworked so they acturally fit and close flush, keep the gutted OEM's.
If you can find fiberglass doors with pre-installed lexan, buy them.
Otherwise just gut the stock doors, buy the TFAL lexan kit or go to home depot and buy 2 big sheets of lexan and make the windows yourself

There is also 1 side scratch resistant and 2 side scratch resistant. Make sure you get the 2 side. I can't stand looking at someone's car and seeing scratched up lexan that is tacky.

All that old MB stuff always lined right up for me including the tailgate and front end, and every front I've had since is all deformed and needs work to fit. Are they still around?

They want $600 for the lexan on those doors? That is retarded...it is about $80 worth of lexan on there. You can buy a 4x8 sheet of the good stuff from a place like Meyer Plastics for about $220. Let me look to see if I still have my template from my EG doors. My MB fiberglass doors mounted up real easy and fit perfect.

Don't get the stuff from Home Depot.
If you look in the RR/AX forum there have been some good threads in there on lexan and different fasteners (maybe in here too, but I've never looked).
