Default Need HELP quick!!! (Buying an S2K in a day!!)

Hello all,
I'm going to purchase an S2k this weekend. It's an '02.

It has the EPS light on. Maybe unrelated, but the he said the car SLIGHTLY pulls to the left...needing a small alignment.

What's up with this system? Is it ONLY for pump/rack failure? Could it be on for something stupid (Other than a sensor error/or wiring thing)? Could a bad alignment set it off?

What am I in for, I don't need a headache or a blown rack. Otherwise the car's great and a good deal...would this be a deal breaker, or something worth rolling the dice on?? HELP!!!!!!

Ps: Of course I searched!

if you searched and its not a common problem, you can probably infer that the fix will be expensive.. since no one knows what the cause is, it could range from 0$ to 2-3000$ to unrepairable chassis damage (in regards to the pull to the left)

EPS as far as i know only helps with steering, dunno about the alignment

Take it to a dealer and have them check it, on his dime obviously.
