Ok heres the thing, I got one of the greatest deals on a GSR engine swap which includes axels, shift linkages, ecu, and other goodies. But theres one thing I'm not too sure about. So far my engine is going to be machined work. I know that I will need to buy a new clutch kit, gasket kit, and a new timing belt. The main question is, since I'm going to use the P72 ecu from the gsr, do I still need to buy a whole new wiring harness by having an Obd1 wire jumper to odb2?? or I don't need it at all since I'm just using the original ecu that comes with it. And this engine is going to be transplanted into an Obd2 chassis. Thanks in advance!

 

dont buy a new harness. yu can use yours you may just need to switch a few plugs for the dizzy. sorry im not sure what else.

you will need a jumper harness to use your ecu.

 

you don't need another entire wiring harness. yours is a one-piece anyway. it would be a huge bitch to swap it out.
