I want to say its OBD2b. Its for an EM1 if that helps you out any. And yes its chipped for a B-series.

I'm 90% postive that it's OBD2b, because the jhpusa jumper harness is OBD2b to OBD1. And when I had that installed and the ECU on my EM1 it worked fine. I'm having a tough time finding info on how to tell if the ECU is OBD2b or OBD2a...
