B18 Block Questions
I've been going back and forth between building my stock d16y8 for turbo or an N/A build but a friend of mine offered me a b18b block and b16a head for a price i couldnt pass up so it looks like i will be doing an ls/vtec.
In the all motor dyno thread, i noticed some people boring out to 81.5mm and some to 82mm, so my first question is 82mm still safe to bore to with the cylinder walls being too thin? Second, I see some people running the P30's or the PR3's. Are these good choices or should I step up to forged? Looking for around 12:1 CR. And then which rods can I use without machining the piston to fit? Eagles?
Goals for this build would be at least 200whp dialy driven. Possible?

you would be just fine with the p30's. 200hp is way acheivable on the lsv. cam, upgrade your valvetrain and tune and you are set. that is what i am going to use on my build i am about to start.
Yeah i've been reading the all motor dyno thread alot to get some ideas. i'm just not sure if i should go with the p30's or a set of forged pistons. And if I do go with the p30's, is it the LS rods that connect to them with no machining?
Other than ebay, where's a good place that everyone likes to buy them at?
Is it safe to go to 82mm or is 81.5mm good enough?
