EG SiR cluster...bad lighting
i just bought the cluster for my coupe. i replaced all my light bulbs, so everything should be lit up fine. the problem is, at the 120 Km mark, the lighting is kind of dim. is there anything wrong will the cluster??
mine is dim, I think there must be a problem with the plug and play of these clusters. I think the dimmer is not hooked up properly. Anyone got one of these to light up bright ?
im not sure if its the same for EG's but in my ek, if you take out the litle bulbs behind the gauges you can pull off the little covers on the light bulbs. They wont be the same color as they are now, but they will be a little brighter.
thats cuz the dimmer switch on the jdm ones is different ive heard..oh well..thats why u get a si cluster..goes to 9k..how many people go to 9k anyway..has a tach that works
which connections are you talking about?? and i took off the little covers on that light. still dim.. is there a possibility that the cluster is bad? that cant be normal.

Erm, speaking from experience, sir's dont come with dimmers controls, and well, they are always that dark, its not just when you put the clusters in other cars...

yes....but is it dim all over the place, or just that little spot? mine is only dim from 100-120km. i played with the bulbs again last night and nothing changed. i guess im just going to have to live with it
