Default Will I rub?? Suspension Help!!

Ok, I've decided instead of a sound system it's time for a suspension drop. My car is a 95 civic. With my set-up I'm afraid that I'm going to rub pretty bad due to the offset of the rims? My current rims are 17x7" Konigs w/ a 40mm offset. If I can sell my rims I'm going to put SI rims on there. It may take me a while so I'd have the drop w/ Konigs for some time. The shocks and springs I want are Koni Reds and H&R Sports or Eibach Sportlines. The drop will be around 1.5"-1.7" approximately, so keep that in mind. Also, it may help that I am the only person that ever rides in my car (never had a passenger yet). Also, anybody w/ sports or sportlines --> did you need a camber kit?

Thanks! Pics would also be appreciated.

Performance over pounding Bass

I have Eibach Sportlines on my 95 EX coupe, the camber came 0.3% out of specs up front, but it's not enough to affect tire wear appreciably(sp?). As long as you are running a tire with a sufficiently low profile, you shouldn't rub. What sized tires do you have, 205/40/17's? Should be good to go, although a camber correction kit couldn't hurt.

I have Kumho 205/40s. My car is slow as ***** so I'll take anything I can get hence 17s to 15s. I like the looks of 17s but Konigs are heavy, the tires are wide so I can feel every bump in the road, plus I like an OEM look.

Default If you rub...

Take off the fender liners, then yank out the fender. 225/45/15 can fit.

Get a set of coilovers and then you can set your ride hight anywhere you want and then you don't have to worry about rubbing because you can set them to perfect hight on your car. I have the apexi world sport coilovers on my 99 si and they are absolutly awsome. Think about it.
