i have a 93 eg.. i want a wide fat wheels on my car but i dont know how wide i can go? and also i want to see some wheels on eg or any suggestion. i wanna throw 15" wheels.

but really offset and how much you want to roll your fenders and stretch your tires is gonna determine how wide you can go.and how low of course

 

go with a 205 15. 45 for tires

 

you can get 215's on it.

 

You can get 275s on it. They go well with the 15x10s mentioned above.

 

What do you want the wide tires for? If it's like drag racing, ok. If it's a d.d. then don't go too wide. I had some 16in konigs that rode the grooves in the road really bad. You had to hold on tight or you could lose control.

195/50/15 and 185/55/15 for winter tires.

 

"Perfect" is completely opinion. Wide tires will have more rubber on the pavement, narrow will have less drag and get better gas mileage, taller tires will net a slightly higher gear ratio, sidewall size will affect ride and handling... It's like comparing apples and oranges, except that it's easy to tell that oranges would totally kick apples' butt. It would be like Chuck Norris versus Erkel.

 

Not really, if you're running 15 inch wheels, the best size is either 195/50/15 or 205/50 15. Im not making this up, this is coming from people that know their ****.

 

Check out the latest issue of Honda Tuning. Phase 2 has an eg hatch on there with some custom BBS's 15x9 0 offset, 15x9.5 -6 offset. DOPE as F&$%

 

i just got a set of ESM that are like the work equips in 15x8 O offset and i will give them a try... they are gonna be my winter project.. for what i've rear around 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 seem to be popular sizes for these... however i do not have idea of what they look like... ill keep lookng around and see wat i can find but if any of you have a pic of a car with this etup pls post and help.... i know this isnt very functional......

 

i have 7.5" wide wheels and they are +35 offset and they are perfectly flush. my wheels are 16" though and im running a 40 series tire

edit: oh and none of my fenders are rolled and it doesnt rub one single bit

 

im just worry about the handling....i wish we can test drive those wheels first before we buy 'em...hehehe!!..

 

I'll say that 275's are extremely wide for that car.
