2000 hatch shift linkage problem

Default 2000 hatch shift linkage problem

I just threw a gsr swap into my 2000 ek hatch everthing is done except for the linkage.......... I put the linkage in but it seems to be to short....the stabalizer rod is fine and bolted up but the accual shifter is sitting to close to the dash looks like it is in first when in neutral works though just kinda anoying............ do I need a linkage from a 1999-2000 sir or si to you American fellas?????

Yes you do. That is the proper set-up for your car. Also, check to see if you installed the shifter correctly. If it's backwards, it might cause the issue your talking about.

any B series linkage works, if your trying to reuse your stock linkage from your d series engine its wrong.
