it's nasty to get out you just have to work it.

cut in half? man it aint that hard..theres only like 3 bolts u have to take off..the one in the rear..left side and front...and it slides right out..just use lots of muscle to loosen the bolts

i did mine about 3 weeks ago, and the back one is a pain the the *** to ge to, i used a swival socket and some other **** too. about 45 minutes later viola!~

regular socket and a ONE long extension....
Put the socket on the bolt head.... then stick the extension down by the firewall u may need to convince it with a hammer slightly

i guess it just require skillzzz and experience
lol, getting it out is easy, its getting it back in that takes a while, what I did was drop the rear crossmember/support and get back there with a long extension and a swivel socket, wasn't that hard, and when u drop the crossmember it gives u a bit more room
massage the firewall right where it bends towards the back of the car using a your extension & a hammer to make a crease right above the mount. Then, insert a socket (3/8" drive will do) with an extension down onto the bolt - this way, you can kinda see what you're doing - every car is a little different...it will save you time .
