I don`t want to scare you lol. Plus, it comes almost bare. You still need to buy crank, pan, rods, pistons, bearings, etc etc etc
I don`t think you can go wrong w. Golden Eagle anyways.

Honda B20 rods won't fit in the Dart B20+ block. The deck is taller on that one, meaning Honda rods wouldn't be long enough. It would be a great block to stroke though, since the longer rods would reduce the side forces from the stroker crank. Its expensive, but using on a regular street car is overkill anyway.
That would make for an insane all-motor setup. I believe it has internal oiling also.
You'd only wanna use this in a race car, and if your budget was insane.
Ina Street Car, wow....300whp anyone?

I think that the going rate for these blocks is around $2200, bare block. Everything about their design is exceptional, but you would have to have one hell of a credit card l9imit, or be ken to Bill Gates or Ross Perot to afford to put one together.
At least for 2200 you know you are getting one hellova block, that should last for a long time thru many beatings. The increased deck height option is nice...you can get a good r/s ratio even with a b18 crank!
**** a b18 crank! You can get a good rod stroke in a gsr block. With that much deck height you'd be stupid not to run a 94+mm stroker crank. From Jun, Eagle, or a rewelded honda. But I still wouldn't go with a Dart block. For much less you can get the Golden Eagle Mfg. Deck plate and sleeving...for all motor you can run a 3/4" inch deck plate, 86mm sleeves, 100mm stroker crank!! Have a 2.3L b18c1 with a decent rod stroke ratio. Or if you want to run a little less stroke maybe use a 94-97mm crank and you can still rev that motor to 10,000+rpms.
But i'd definately go with Golden Eagle before I'd go with Dart. Never heard a bad thing about them.

My golden eagle b20 block is "sick"
-or was. I had coolant seeping into the oil at the bottom of the sleeves where they meet the block(at least that's what we could figure). I went back to a 16lb. radiator cap(from the 30lb cap that comes on the C&R radiator, all seems fine. We'll see.

My friend works at a Machine shop that deals closely with Dart, and he is receiving his b18 dart block for testing next week... so i'll be able to let you guys know soon how they are...
I got lucky. A friend of mine had one, and is going turbo. So I traded him. I've been told motorcycle shops have the correct caps for the C&R's. Or, I guess you could call C&R directly.
