Default ecu code #20

what does the E.L.D - electric load detector mean. Ive heard it means that the circuit is unplugged or needss to be cleaned. But what else could it possibly mean?. And The fuel pump is not properly working.

fuel pump may be main relay related. do you hear the relay click on and off when you turn the key to run?

the eld may be toast, or it may be as simple as a loose ground wire.

test 'er out

theres a ground wire from the trans to the chassis, from the valve cover to the chassis, and from the engine harness to the thermostat housing.

I had that happen once because I did a bad mpfi swap at the ecu. I had accidentally mispinned one wire to pin b8 instead of b10 or something like that. If I were in your place, I would check to see if you have a loose wire at the ECU.
