can i use a auto LS starter in my GSR 5 speed trans?

so i can use an auto starter with a 5 speed trans with no problem at all? and everything plugs in the same way? would i be able to start it without having the clutch pressed on since its a auto starter or do i still have to press on the clutch to start it

 

the starter has nothing to do with that. Thats the Clutch switch that makes you have to push it. you can bypass that switch by jumping it right by your clutch pedal.

 

okay so if i dont bypass it then i would just start normally pressing down the clutch correct? and everything plugs in the same way correct?

Well i have no idea what it is on B series. But on D series the manual starter is much larger and doesnt bolt up. Yes, It would start by you pushing the clutch down.
