fuel pressure regulator - d series del Sol
Hey again, I got a fuel pressure regulator (some no name brand one) a while back and I just set it at 31 psi. But I would like to learn a lil more bout these and what I can do to increase fuel mileage or hp increases etc..... anybody got any tips or tricks for fpr's? thanks
Are you in the habit of putting parts on your car and not fully understand what function they perform? Lemme ask you this. Why 31PSI? How did you arrive at that number?
Here's another Google search result.

Doing stuff because your buddy told you is a bit on the crazy side without verifying it yourself. If you car blows up he aint gonna be the one ***-out.
I have been running my d16y8 at 30 psi for about 4 years now and have had no problems with leaning. I believe the Honda book says that anywhere between 28 and 40 psi is normal. Mine was running at 38 psi before I put the adjustable fpr on. My fuel mileage seems to be a lil better and it doesnt run as rich as it used to.
Well I was told that 38 was ur typical stock psi and leaning it out to about 30 would be good for fuel mileage. he just runs 93 octane and he said he runs his about 27-28. (IDR exactly)
