Plugs and wires
stock ngk wires...dont get that fancy 10mm ebay junk
many well built engines have stock wires. but as for plugs it depends what your doing and what you want to achieve, colder combustion? hotter combustion? better gas mileage?

Yeah, unless you have a high-output setup (forced induction) just go with stock replacement wires.
You won't even see gains or anything on a turbo setup. It will give you some piece of mind though and the upgraded NGK wires I just put in my friends Civic fit onto the valve cover and plugs MUCH better. Old ones were not sealing on (which is why we replaced them).
Stock NGK replacement plugs: works everytime. Ive got E3's in my Accord. Haven't really noticed a difference to be honest. Rick rabies already mentioned hotter or colder range plugs, but if you are staying in the bolt-on phase, then stock replacement works just fine.

Just get NGK Wires (8mm). For plugs get the E3 Plugs that fir your car. They will give you a little more power and slightly better gas mileage.
I had E3's on my Y8 and I noticed the difference. I also AVG'd about 2MPG more after putting in the E3's. But obviously results may vary.

Personally, I would stick with a good high-quality iridium plug. For your car I would go with the NGK IX iridium plugs part number ZFR5FIX-11. They run $7 or $8 per plug and will get you the best performance and mileage for your money. Stick with the Honda factory plug wires since they make some of the best wires money can buy.
As far as the E3 plugs that some people recommend, well, I haven't seen any reliable information proving they actually make any performance difference. They aren't too expensive for your car but they aren't designed for high performance applications. All of your high performance plugs are going to use iridium since it it the best conductor available in a spark plug. Better conduction means better mileage and performance.

Although yes I agree they arent designed for high performance applications, they dont come in any really cold heat ranges and you cant adjust their gaps (which makes them bad for very high compression situations such as boost). But for all motor setups and fairly stock cars (not boosted) they are great.

about b and k swaps, lol. The d is gonna be a mild build, nothing too crazy most of my inspiration will be coming from here seeing aswhere I'm from domestic is best, and if ya ask a local what to do with your Honda they'd say junk it and get a Ford, Chevrolet, etc... Anyway thanks for the input on the plugs and wires, I'll probably go pick them up Friday
