I live in upstate SC and hopefully around december or so i will be able to afford a swap. I have been looking for someone to do the install, or to help with the install. Anyone know any really good shops that dont charge out the yang in this area?

how much experience have you had? do you have refrences? Most of all is it that difficult? I may have access to an engine hoist, and a lift....Now, i have dropped a 286 straight six into a 72 jeep cj-5....but there is basically no wiring issues with that, or any sensors or anything to worry about. I am confident i could pretty much bolt everything in...im just not sure about wiring and all that business. Its the little stuff that i'd probably forget.

Well, we did everything, even wiring, but it's a bitch. So I guess you'll have to take it to Madavi or something, he said he'll do wiring for $350.
