Default H&R Sport Springs Question....

I just received them in the mail yesterday and after examining them they look different. The product number on the springs reads 29-879 which is for the 92-96 model Prelude. The box reads 29-879.2 which is the correct one for the 97+, and my springs are red, shouldn't they be black? Did I get the right one? Can someone with H&R sport springs for the 5th gen lude shed some light for me. Thanks.

Well, I still don't have the answer I needed, but I decided to install them anyways. The drop looks good and it rides great with my agx. I kinda like the red on red color scheme I have going with my springs and struts and since I am not having any problem after driving around for awhile I decided to keep it regardless. Thanks for all your help.

I am sure mine are sport springs though because of the product number I have and after installing them they lower like 1.5 inches. I was just wondering why my springs are red because the website show them as being black for sport springs. I check the product number with H&R and 29-879 is for the 4th gen lude and 29-879.2 is for the 5th gen. The box reads 29-879.2, but the actually spring only reads 29-879. That was why I was wondering if I got the right springs or not.

I wonder if both springs for the 4th and 5th gen were the same. Besides the product number on the box, they look the same and even the product number on the spring is the same. That is probably it. Well, it fits and the ride is great so I have no complaints.
