Icon2 4th Gen Sleeper project

Hey guys, new to the site and am looking for tips, trick etc... I have embarked on a 92' accord sleeper project. Goals are to hit the 300+ HP mark with the F22 block and head. I've thought about using the H23 head but haven't decided. I have done a lot of research on this project and it sounds to me with new internals, rebuilt head, and 10#s of boost I should be able to reach it. Currently have an F22A1 block at my machinist shop being bored .020 over. Will be looking to do a rotating assembly, I am having trouble finding one as a kit. From the looks of things I will have to piece it together. Since the block is steel sleeved already I'm not concerned about sleeving it. I am looking at doing Wiseco pistons, K1 rods and I haven't been able to find a crank. Honda-performance.com has some decent looking kits but I don't know anyone that has used them. I will be using their girdle kit to help close the deck. Looks like a couple guys on here have a boosted SOHC 16v F22s, very good to see! Any tips or advice would be very much appritiated! Thanks.

if the crank ain,t hurt don't screw with it. honda cranks are stong and 300hp won't kill it. rod and piston are enuff . get it balanced and lose the counter balance shafts. 300hp is going to require some boost. invest in the good stuff , beware of the EBAY junk. and o yeah GOOD LUCK

The main reason I was looking into replacing the crank was because of the 200k+ on it... Wasn't sure if it would last under that much horse... Also I had heard the DSM stuff would bolt with a little modding... Haven't made it that far though. I want to get the motor done by November and once it's ready I will know exactly what I'll want for a turbo set up... Also trying to avoid dropping $10k into it! Ha! Thanks guys!

300hp has been done on boosted F`s.. There are a few members here that can vouch for that much power on the F block.. What about the head? I seen you mention the short block at the shop.. The stock F Sleeves are good for 300+.. What pistons an rods? What kind of compresion are you thinking?
Maybe I missed it but I though that the DSM setup was for F22Ax?? I could be wrong I thought the pattern was 0-0-0-0 for the DSM. The F22Bx has 0-00-0 exhaust port pattern.. Anyway, in for more on this as it happens..
BTW, I am F22B2 Boosted @ 8lbs daily an love it.
GL.

The head will be port pollished, camed, over size valves and springs. I will have my machine shop do all that as well. As for pistons I'm going .020 over by recomendation and am havin some trouble finding them. Originally I was going with wiseco but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for. Now it's probably going to be JE or SRP. I'm looking at probably 8.5-1 or 9.1 compression. Rods I found with K1 H beam, they sound reputable. I've had other members tell me to stick with the stock crank, your thoughts? As far as DSM, I am doing an F22A1 so I think that is still an option, however at this poi t I just want to get my motor complete lol. What's the mm diameter of .020 over from standard? Is it 84mm? I don't know for sure. Anyway thanks for all the support, I don't have anyone up here so this has been very useful!!
