Do you need to diode the alarm grounds?
Just wondering I the alarm main grounds must have a diode. I know the sensor outputs must when there are more than 1 on the same line but I don't know where else to use them. Thanks for any advice.
Whow.. A diode at EVERY high input/output wire? What is shunt? If I'm not sure of the current dirrection and amp rateing of the wires (ignition 1 and 2 and starter wires, etc) how do I figure out to properly install the diode? What are the practical differences of slow blow, fast blow or breakers and what should I use? The capacitor should be placed in parallel with the VDC supply for the alarm? PWBA? I don't have a secondary battery just a battery in the trunk and a decoy under the hood. I am sorry for all the questions (I will start to search now in the archives for mor info) but I'm not familiar with these things you recommend. It's rare to come across information like this. If you don't feel like posting any info feel free to email me. Sorry for bugging you so much and thanks again.
