I have a 1990 Honda Accord that seems to stall at times when I am sitting at a stop light or at a roll, it also looses power on the highway in some occations...the RPMs drop down to zero and then jump back up(highway)
When it stalls at a light I just have to try and start it a few times and then she goes, but the problem seems to be getting increasingly worse as time goes on. Can someone please help me out with this problem, it's becoming a real issue for me on my way to work in the mornings.

The car was my grandmothers and she just had a "tune-up" done at a acura dealer...the car has 133,00 miles on it...and runs perfect otherwise and always had(other then tranny getting done). Do you think the fuel filter could cause a problem such as this...something that doesn't always happen? Please let me know..

I called Honda here in CT and the tech told me it sounds like the distributor, what do you think? He said it could be rotted out or what not. Let me know what you think? Wouldn't you think a "Tune-up" would have consisted of a fuel filter change?
