stage 3 clutch installed, dont feel like its engaging.
I just installed a stage 3 clutch today using OEM flywheel, and I've experienced some wierd problems. If any of you know about it please help me out. Oh, this is a single cam turbo.
First, I noticed that when everything was put back together the thing that the clutch slave cylinder pushes doesnt push all the back to the left. Sorry, I do not know the correct terms for all parts.
Now after bleeding the clutch a couple times I went for a test drive. The car doesn't feel like it wants to stall untill I let the clutch all the way out. Meaning the clutch is engaging so late? Shouldn't it be early, because in a friend's car he also has stage 3; and as soon as he let go of the clutch it feels like it wants to stall. Mine doesn't do that it feels almost like a STOCK clutch.
Does this sound right to you guys? Or maybe it was installed incorrectly?
