Default What tranny do i have?

so i recently bought a 92 eg hatch with b18b1 swap. yesterday i let my dad drive the car and now the clutch is toast. i dont know what clutch to get because i dont know if the tranny was swapped as well or not. is it an integra ls transmission i have no idea. anyone know?

Just get a clutch for any B-series. They're all the same.

not true cable and hydro are different

Well, that's kind of a no-duh factor. I doubt anyone did a hydro to cable conversion on an EG, and there weren't any cable-actuated B18B's.

i think you misunderstood me. how come the exedy stage 1 cost more than the exedy oem replacement clutch then? im a noob but im not a dumbass thanks

The Exedy OEM replacement is akin to the garbage you might buy at Autozone or CSK. The stage 1 is a little stiffer but still qualifies as an OEM replacement. It's not unsprung, doesn't have a different number of pucks or discs, etc.

easy way to find out are your gears long or short?

im pretty sure its 4th gear, while in 4 at 60 whats your rpms?
