**what will dump an EF??**
already reseached!! so i've learned about spring rates,struts/coil over combos, ride quality.etc but no specifics on dumping 88-91 civics. So im currently on skunk2 sleeves flipped upside down minus 1 collar. But not low enough! thinking about F2s type 1, but will they "slam" a ef?? Any one with this or other setups that will dump an ef? post info + pics. Thanks
^^ I know im on page 25 of 87 my 2nd "dump thread", but the majority are eg's, eks, and a a$$ load of tegs!! the sk2 on my ef will lower my bros eg more than my ef..wtf?

...13's. F@#k that
even after reading that thread, I didnt see 1 ef that sat lower than their splash guards. I want to know of setups that will cause you to cut front splash gaurd!! btw, still waiting to hear how low do F2s go
well when you put it that way, i'm rocking 13"s with unknown shocks and a set of max speed coil over sleeves. adjusted all the way down with both adjusters still attached. rides great! not too bouncy, doesnt bottom out. my front mudflaps are maybe an eight of an inch off the ground with out me in the car, and drag when i'm in the car. i could go almost an inch lower if i took out my adjusters... this what you are looking for?
i say unknown because the shocks are not blown and have been at slammed status for years (i pulled them off my friends wrecked crx, and he had it almost as low as it could go). thus leading me to think that they are not stock... but they look stock so maybe they are.
if i had fifteens i'd be tucking like ek's do. i set one of my meshies up next to the car, and it looked like the tire would be in the wheel well a good inch-inch and a half compared to the 1/2" that i have now...

Cut your springs.....
and use the part you cut off....
Skunk2 Full Coilovers slam the **** out of the cars they are meant for.
There is nothing wrong with 13s, i'm waiting to find tires for my 13" BBS wheels so i can ditch my damned Enkei 92s.

if you want it that low just take off your springs and add a extra bump stop to your shocks and you should be good to go.

Funny when I did have my EF I was running Eibach grand slams with tokico blues with that set up it shaved my mud guards half way from scrapping.
I don't have an EF any more, but with my EK I have the Skunk2 sleeves with Koni shocks and on the lowest circlip on the Konis My front lip was on the ground with the collars half way. If you go that route then I would suggest buying the GC top hats as well.

Eibach grand slams?? you 4real or
From all I've read about lowering, tokicos dont hold up with being "dumped". How long did your setup last? pics??
Rode like crap it didn't last at all. I was just out of high school and this was before digital cameras were 4 for a $100. I don't think you can get those springs any more. Being 18-20 I didn't care what it rode like but it looked hard as hell. Before that my first set up was brand new Lightspeed springs on those same brand blues. Now being an "old man" I wouldn't run anything but Koni yellows or better and not nearly slammed.
^^ never 2 old to be slammed.
Yeah, Im just about to give up on the F2s and go w/ the koni yellow, with the circle clip on the lowest setting...maybe with out the sleeves if need be. But last I check I heard skunk2 sleeves were 400f and 500r's?
Maybe on koni's stiffest setting they'll hold up...
