Ok. I have a 1992 Honda Civic Hatch and just recently made a deal with a buddy for a f2.0B Engine. "he did the straight h2.2a engine swap in his accord.
Couple of rims and tires and i now own a f2.0B.

I was told that i could do a head swap out to the h2.2a and increase drastically everything about this block. I was also told to swap out the stock pistons and rods for RSX style.
1. Is the feasability there?
2. Will this do very bad things "in a good way. hehe".
3. After the conversion, will i be able to go Turbo. Without damaging things.
4. How much "hacking and slashing" will be involved.

If people have in fact done this swap out, is it a better conversion than just swapping totally over to the h2.2a?

for onw its f20 no dot and h22 no dot you need to do a lot more research before making carppy threads like this all the info is in the sticky's go do some reading

 

in my opinon this swap is pointless, but this is just me. its going to require basicly the same parts as a h22 swap, and there will be some cutting.

i have heard of people useing the rsx pistons and rods but i dont know for sure,

if i were you i would definely do some reading on this swap, i dont think the f20 has been done alot but there is info out there for it.
but as this guy above said there is no . in it, is f20b or h22

 

For Clarification purposes only.. Thanks for your input. I put the periods.. "." in for the purposed of f2.0Lb style block. in other words. 2.0L block.
block style being fb. thanks for clarifying my ignorance though.


I also did the reading. I simply posted for assistance. the f20b conversion with the h22a head is and has been done before. I wouldn't simply post to be a moron. Located in alaska, getting the technical advice for doing something like this is the smart thing to do. Even though i will be doing it through my shop.
