Default Tall owners of The s2k please come in.

Hi im 6'4 slim/med build, I was wondering if anyone of the taller members here could give me a basic idea on what life is like in an S2k being above average height.

Thanks in advance

the GSR makes a better daily but the S2000 is worth it. 10000 times more fun to drive.

Tight....I enjoy the width room in the GSR myself. Dont know why, but I feel like my legs are so close together my nuts cant breath.... Leg room is pretty decent, I'd like a couple extra inches of head room, but its decent. Personally I still think the SC300 kicks the crap out of any of the above for a daily driver, but then again, so does a new accord.

i'm 6'2", 215 lbs, not skinny, not overweight, football player build, and i fit just fine in mine and daily drive it.

i have toyed with the thought of making some lower sitting seat rails, but i don't really think that i need them. hell i can even wear a helmet with the top up in mine.

i stick out above the windshield... i wear a helmet with goggles... before i did this i would eat a few bugs periodically... that didnt really annoy me too much... what really pushed me over the edge was when a truck kicked up a rock and spit my head open... if u stick out above the windshield, just do what i do...

A while back, I went to a 'convertible specialist' back here in the Netherlands, to try and see if I'd fit behind the steering wheel of an AP1.

I'm 6 foot 8 (2.05 in metres), weigh in at about 240-245lbs (app. 110kg) and I don't fit;
- I wasn't able to close the roof top as I was looking forward OVER the windshield,
- my upper legs were somewhat jammed between the steering wheel and pedal box, I could steer, but would def. not be able to control it when in an unforseen powerslide...
- I wasn't able to open the door from the inside, I had to open the window and exit via the outside door handle.

This was with the seat as far back as possible, and the backside as far to the rear as well.
If I'd install a set of lowered seat rails, I'd still not fit comfortably, or have total control.
And I think that sucks monkey b's, as I'm selling my Skyline to go back to Honda

What if I get to a corner haha, I know that in rwd car the steering wheel is there to hold on to and the loud pedal is to 'aid in the steering process', but that's not a very practical manoeuvre to perform in traffic

Oh, and in Holland, it rains over 200 out of 356 days.
I'm not going to drown my S2k in rainwater, or with my luck, hit a hard object with my head when doing a high speed run on the highway or something.

There is only one option; lengthen the car 15 inches or so... and I lack the funds to have it done, or the welding skills to do it myself.
And an AP1 is not an object to learn how to weld hehe

6'4" 200 lbs. My head was high with factory seats. A rock to the head requiring stiches convinced me to lower the seat. I ended up getting after market seats and lowering myself almost 4" with custom seat brackets. I actually sit with my shoulders below the window sill. It's great now.

im 6'3" 235 and I had to do the Backyard seat rail before I felt ok in the car. if my legs were any longer, they would hit the dash. Height does have a bit to do with it but body structure will be the determining factor. go drive one and decide
