hes asking why everyone uses SS instead of mild steel for manifold construction. I really dont understand that either. A coated mild steel mani is still gonna be cheaper than SS and it will just as good or better since its coated.

Compared to the 304weld els that everyone uses..no. not at all. A mild steel manifold is much more durable. And for the other guy; mild steel 1.5" els were a little more money than SS last time I checked. Sooooo...ya know

i have seen alot of ss manifold craked in here i was thinking it du to low temperature or some thing like that with mild steel i feel like its better suporting this temperature radical changement when exhaust temp pass from 1300 to -30
i never seen anywhere in usa peaple who build manifold with mild steel so that why i ask this question
mabe you did not have problem like this
some peaple from where i live will probably read this thread and say their manifold dont break but i saw alot of broken ss manifold from great companie witch i guess its completly unuseful to mention the name

im sory for my bad english i guess it like everything with practice it become better

and i can confirm even during the winter mild steel manifold dont break mine are live time waranty

I have built more mild steel manifolds than SS. They're great. I like you first B series one too. Got a picture of the oil drain?

no i have no pics from under the manifold
the turbo is install at the lower (logic) point where it can be install without having probleme to drain oil
from the pan it make a 90 deg on the left side and rise to the turbo just a litle higher as the oil pan
